Abercrombie & Fitch Haul

Abercrombie & Fitch

Over memorial day weekend I spotted some cute stuff on sale at Abercrombie. I haven’t shopped there in years, so I wanted to give it a go and see what changes they have made over the years, and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised!

My first impression was how pricey their stuff is when it’s not on sale, however now that i have the product in hand, I can see why! Their stuff is choice and the pieces are such great quality. I can see each product is valuable because they are staple pieces, and if I have learned anything from working in retail all those years, it’s to always
Invest, buy less & buy smart.

That means to buy those pricier pieces that are high quality (invest)
less frequently (buy less)
that will have longevity in your closet (buy smart).

I see Abercrombie heading in this direction and I like it!

Here’s what i found 🙂

These are such good quality denim! No stretch, back to the CLASSIC feel of a good jean, pair of shorts…

I was drawn to these because of the pleats. I wasn’t sure how i would feel about them, but they are what I grab now when I leave the house on a hot day… I’ve actually worn them two days in a row and I still have them on as I’m typing… haha!

These run TTS, I’m in a 24 and they fit great! They are high rise and no stretch.

The Shorts:
These shorts are so cute, to me, on everyone else! Honestly i don’t think they looked bad on me, i just didn’t feel like they represented my style and my comfort eery well! Maybe my closet and comfort zone just isn’t ready for them yet LOL!

However, i have seen these on tons of other bloggers and i always love them on the other girls!

High rise, High-Low design, no stretch, TTS! I’m in a 24

The Top:
This sweater is SO comfy. It is fleece lined on the inside so its like wearing a hug. It’s not super heavy so I didn’t get hot in it, and the length of it is perfect. I don’t like cropped crews, and I also don’t think regular length ones look good either unless your in your cozy’s at home… So for me finding one in that in-between that is going to sit on my pants button perfectly is a challenge!
But here she is.

Wrap Front Sweater

Ok if you remember from my Amazon haul, I had another wrap front sweater I tried. I like them both in different ways! This one is more of a sweater sweater… If that makes any sense. This would take you through many seasons but probably not the summer. It is a true sweater and you wouldn’t even need to wear anything under it! Its not too tight and not at all itchy! Thank goodness.

This piece could be dressed up with a cute leather jacket, spanx and some heals, or you could wear it on a run or just with jeans! a good piece for your closet in my book.

Swim Suit Cover-up:
I’m not letting this gem go. I’m going to wear it all summer!

This beauty cinches at the waist or you can untie the sides and have it open too! This came out of the bag smelling like fresh linen and I just love it so much!

TTS, I’m in the XS/S
