Tiny Bathroom Refresh!
This tiny bathroom sincerely creeped me out before this refresh (I called this my creepy bathroom) and i’m so excited this space is finally done so I can actually use it instead of avoid it like the plague…
This took me ONE DAY and in the end only costed under $60!
Let me show you how creepy it was before….
Pretty gross and CREEPY ami’right!?
Ok I will start with the botanical wall!
These were FREE prints that I found on the Biodiversity Heritage Library. There are SO MANY choices, it is pretty overwhelming.
HERE is where you can browse all of the prints
Here is the album where I found the prints I liked 🙂
There are 3 albums titled “nach der natur gemalt” version 1, 2 & 3 that are all the same style that I really love!
The frames are 8 x 10 frames from the Dollar Store! Can’t link them here but they are a brassy color with some black fleckings in them and they are only $1 🙂 SCORE!
Here are the brackets I picked up from Home Depot for this bathroom makeover.
However, I got THESE for my kitchen shelves from Lowes and loved them WAY MORE so I would go with these if I were to do this again.
I loved them more because they are lighter weight, come with a screw to match the finish, and had a “slip on” set up (you drill the screw in and then slip the bracket into place… way easier)
For the shelves themselves, I just went to Home Depot’s lumber section, found an 8 ft long piece of 8 x 2 Pine, and had them cut it to the measurements I needed 🙂
I got them home and threw one coat of one-step Farmhouse stain by Old Barn Living on them,
(did not sand, I like the crazy look of fresh pine)
and then put them up on the brackets and started decorating!
Here is a gallery of the finished look
I hope you enjoyed this budget friendly, one day project, refresh on my tiny “creepy” bathroom!
